In the course of generation changes at the head of M+R Spedag, Daniel Richner has taken over all shares in the Group from his father, Hansruedi Richner. Daniel Richner has been CEO of the logistics company since 2001. With the successor arrangements finalized today, Daniel Richner will also become President of the Board of the M+R Spedag Group.
With the retirement of Hansruedi Richner, a classic entrepreneurial career molded by the pioneering spirit comes to an end. He was one of the founders of the company in 1952, and during 50 years developed it to become one of the leading family-owned businesses in the forwarding industry. Hansruedi Richner will remain associated with the firm as honorary President. "I am glad that the successor arrangements could be settled in a satisfactory way for all those involved. With this, a new area in the history of the company can begin."
