Formula 1 Logistics in Singapore

To give the event a unique edge, Singapore will be the first country in the world to have an F1 night race. As various roads will be closed due to the race, the logistics around the event are expected to be a great challenge.
 
In the run up to the race, a series of high profile events will be staged in Singapore. One of them happens to be the display of F1 cars around prominent places, such as major shopping centres.

M+R Forwarding Pte Ltd has been given the privilege of handling the shipping, clearance and full logistics involved in the display of some of these cars. In co-operation with their partner in the UK, they will provide their services to McLaren, Williams and Ferrari. The handling also includes important peripheral goods such as parts and promotional items.

The vehicles shipped are not mock-ups, but actual F1 racing cars, albeit without engines installed. M+R Forwarding will be handling the transfers and the setting up of the cars at various venues in Singapore.
